For your convenience, an exterior drop box is located on the north side of the Government Services Building located at 320 3rd St. NW for you to deposit payments or documents. We will be collecting those items several times per day.
This situation is rapidly changing and Rice County will continue to provide information as it becomes available. We have a link to a dedicated COVID-19 page on our website www.co.rice.mn.us where you can find information from Rice County Public Health, links to partner agencies and Rice County department specific announcements. We encourage you to follow the most current guidelines set forth by the CDC and Minnesota Department of Health to help prevent the spread of disease and keep you and your families healthy.
We will be providing additional, more detailed communication regarding public services in the coming days. Counties provide critical services to residents and while some of our facilities may be closed to the public, employees will be continuing to work to provide supporting and essential services to the residents of Rice County. The decision to limit access to our facilities was not taken lightly and we appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
